Something Beautiful

Something Beautiful   I've learned to this indisputable  As no one else can do it like You can Turn broken into something beautiful Making that broken to self suitable  Finishing that within where it began I've learned to this indisputable  Turning inside out to approvable In showing Your glory as You than Turn broken into something beautiful As one allows You to sew together The pieces that shattered deep within One's transformation new altogether A portrait of spiritual growth wherein You replace one's damaged soul anew As You bestow Your love to one therein Then one learns a love once never knew I've learned to this it's indisputable As love did blossom giving a breakthrough Turning broke into something beautiful                      ©Doris Elaine

My Way Back Home No matter where my steps did roam I've always felt your presence there In helping me find my way back home For the bad roads I've traveled through some You've helped me be able to bear No matter where my steps did roam Upon my head you gave a spiritual dome That lead my steps down a path of aware In helping me find my way back home Although in my past darts where thrown You my Lord guided them off my path Those moments making clear your presence know My life had seemed to be on a warpath As to the struggle I endured was long But in this you stirred me clear of wrath And now my life with you is strong No matter where my steps do roam It's crystal clear with you I belong Thank you in guiding my way back home      ©Doris Elaine Thoughts : Looking back on my life I see the many times the Lord intervened making sure I knew if not for Him I would not have made it through. To me, it's obvious the Lord was looking over me, even when I did not know and/or
