Something Beautiful

Something Beautiful   I've learned to this indisputable  As no one else can do it like You can Turn broken into something beautiful Making that broken to self suitable  Finishing that within where it began I've learned to this indisputable  Turning inside out to approvable In showing Your glory as You than Turn broken into something beautiful As one allows You to sew together The pieces that shattered deep within One's transformation new altogether A portrait of spiritual growth wherein You replace one's damaged soul anew As You bestow Your love to one therein Then one learns a love once never knew I've learned to this it's indisputable As love did blossom giving a breakthrough Turning broke into something beautiful                      ©Doris Elaine

Transparency: A Virtue Pretenders hide their goal to hurt you Where some pretend to be what they are not But true transparency is a virtue So many play games; their purpose sought Deception being a tool in winning Until it seen through and one is caught Relationship lost; the one is grinning Walking away with no hurt feelings For the game was theirs from the beginning While the other spends time in healings For as was thought this one was real Time in recovery from the bad dealings Hope in finding one that is the real deal Remaining real to self and others to see For real you've been to one's appeal When real to self morals become key Though pretenders hide their goal to hurt you Your ethics keep as you do agree True transparency becomes a virtue         ©Doris Elaine Thoughts : Today moral and ethical standards in presentation of one's self is becoming more and more rare. Especially with Social Media making deception possible. Read meaning to Virtue according to Merriam-W

A Poem for Thought

What Am I Learning Looking what I'm learning, It's  discerning For something's are not needed for me Asking myself, what am I learning I wonder to what this learning concerning For what this learning brought I see Looking what I'm learning, It's  discerning Refuse criminality for earning For behind bars I will not be Asking myself, what am I learning Caring to learn my spiritual need I will not allow force beyond this Avoiding my learning of greed As to social the world reflects as bliss For friends of many, I only need few To media drama brings learning amiss My time in learning to this I knew Looking what I'm learning, It's  discerning For my spirit to this does give a clue Asking myself, what am I learning         ©Doris Elaine Thoughts : While experience does equal learning; does that mean, we have to experience everything this world offers or what everyone else is experiencing? Such as criminality in ripping people off. Is this experience really a learn
