A Poem for Thought

Transparency: A Virtue

Pretenders hide their goal to hurt you
Where some pretend to be what they are not
But true transparency is a virtue

So many play games; their purpose sought
Deception being a tool in winning
Until it seen through and one is caught

Relationship lost; the one is grinning
Walking away with no hurt feelings
For the game was theirs from the beginning

While the other spends time in healings
For as was thought this one was real
Time in recovery from the bad dealings

Hope in finding one that is the real deal
Remaining real to self and others to see
For real you've been to one's appeal

When real to self morals become key
Though pretenders hide their goal to hurt you
Your ethics keep as you do agree
True transparency becomes a virtue

Thoughts: Today moral and ethical standards in presentation of one's self is becoming more and more rare. Especially with Social Media making deception possible. Read meaning to Virtue according to Merriam-Webster dictionary at https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/virtue.  and meaning to Transparency at https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/transparency. When told by your boss you are the most honest, genuine, and transparent person at your job and that others can learn from you says a great deal about your presentation of self. But, what is crazy is when all you are doing is being yourself. Makes one wonder where did being your self in being transparent stop being the norm. And, in doing so, one having to become cautious of others. Good to always be yourself, no matter what the dealing is with another because today transparency is a virtue.

A woman who symbolizes the goodness of God by her excellence. A woman who pray for her house, and other residence. She walks with the Lord shouting, pleading's how me the way oh God'. I'm talking abhor a woman whose 'BAD'. Baptized and delivered. I'm talking about a woman whose 'MAD' Magnificent and devoted. I'm talking about the forever loved lovable leading ladies. Who help us see the best in our daddies. A woman whose blessed. And knows that can never be reversed. A woman who does not Drink, But raises the bar.
