  Until You Can't Some want to believe then they recant  When the word of this world grabs hold of them Believe now as it'll come until you can't When ideas here are greatly implant Making the idea of God's word numb As some want to believe then they recant To pressure of this world they become plant Into wordly ideas as the outcome Believe now as it'll come until you can't Your chance to believe now is fading As life in this world will come to an end And to this to all there is no evading Believing in the Lord life does extend Beyond this world where our body decays And our soul then descends or will  ascend Time short here compared to living always Some want to believe then they recant When into this world their soul sways Believe now as it'll come until you can't                      ©Doris Elaine

Christmas in Your Presence On that occasion I don't need presents In celebrating the joy of the season Only Christmas alone in Your presence For wonderful is Your omnipresence A gift bestowed worldwide preseason To this be why I don't need presents I delight spending time in Your essence For You've given me Your love in reason I'll be spending Christmas in Your presence Thou, not another with me that day I'll be celebrating Our time together As I'll spend Our time gratefully to pray To You my soul is joyously tether For alone I feel not when You are there Making my day pleasant  altogether I'm looking forward Our day's love affair And on that occasion I don't need presents For better is Your gift of love I'll wear In Christmas alone in Your presence              ©Doris Elaine  

  Plans Change Much I have learned to this be greatly such When in my live the Lord moved His grace As in the journey of life plans change much To the changes I accept and clutch Knowing for my good this He has place I have learned to this be greatly as such In life I see the better of His touch And now to His guidance I do embrace As in the journey of life plans change much "For I know the thoughts I have for you" God says: Jeremiah 29:eleven Thus, in advance to my life He knew To His plans my life He did leaven Giving me peace, a future, and hope In my life's journey home to heaven Thou changes in plans makes it hard to cope As I have learned to this be as such The Lord gave grace in this slippery slope When in the journey of life plans change much                     ©Doris Elaine

  Loss of Them Loss of a friend I'd pray Lord save me from As the pain was hard in life to deal Now I pray more for the loss of them As I wonder to what their life will become I know to my loss the Lord will heal But a lost friend I pray Lord save them from I know it's not up to me the outcome Thou, deep inside for their soul I appeal Now I pray more for the loss of them To now the pain in loss reflects in care Although I know the friendship is gone My soul beckons a loss in despair For so close was God's love to rely on To this was forsaken and friendship loss As in our differences to this withdrawn Thou, hard when friendship to this world toss Loss of a friend I'd pray Lord save me from But now to the pain I go to the cross As now I pray more for the loss of them                     ©Doris Elaine Thoughts : Haven't wrote my thoughts of one of my poems in a while, but this one I feel needs my thoughts so as not to be misunderstood, nor misinterpreted.   Happiness for Joy This I've learned in life to enjoy What is eternally there always I willingly trade happiness for joy In happiness moments life does deploy Joy remains in the heart without delays This I've learned in life to enjoy For that rooted deep hard to destroy Where troubles can't reach what joy conveys I willingly trade happiness for joy To happiness in moments come and go It's only evident when things are well Not giving the soul a chance to grow For it's deep within that joy does dwell Where to surface happiness remains In never reaching the heart to compel As joy transcends circumstances in gains This I've learned in life to enjoy When happiness leaves my joy retains I willingly trade happiness for joy                     ©Doris Elaine

  You Were To this knowing I will always concur I look back and to now and see You Thank You when no one else was, You were Although Your presence was sometimes a blur When in struggles of past support was few In the knowing I will always concur You were there in moments of transfer Were in the dark You gave light that grew Thank You when no one else was, You were Impacting my life in the way You did Has given me hope to live it through In knowing Your always there for my good When others had only left me blue You became my best friend of here Now my friendship with You has grew You healed my fear of no one else being there To this knowing I will always concur In Our relationship my heart does cheer Thank You when no one else was, You were                     ©Doris Elaine

Love There is a difference, romance vs. love Where love does endure the span of time Romance fly's away as a dove Our world making this our climb But temporary thereof Love last a lifetime Romance vs. love Love is prime Above Time   Thoughts : Although still learning and no way claiming to be an expert; but, from my own experiences and talking to others, romance the world does provide and love the Lord does provide. While romance is temporal, love endures, is eternal and given from above.  "And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love." (1 Co 13:13, NKJV ).  Thus, romance gives temporary moments, where love endures beyond time and in most case through many circumstances. All of  Corinthians 13   tells us a great deal of what love is  (vs. 4-6 ) , and or me

  Thanks on Thanksgiving Day There's plenty to be thankful for, I'll say For You have provided all my needs As I gives thanks on thanksgiving day I know without a doubt You do care For the love You've shown me exceeds There's plenty to be thankful for, I'll say You’ve taken my doubts and stored them away For now into older my life precedes As I give thanks on thanksgiving day You've stretched my faith through the past year I know now there's plenty to give thanks for To this You've made absolutely clear I'm amazed to the love and care You've pour I've known through this year with You I belong To this my life now I greatly adore Although this past year some things went wrong There's plenty to be thankful for, I'll say For You never left my side all along As I give Thanks on Thanksgiving Day         ©Doris Elaine

  Thank You Friend In this world it's easy to loose oneself A friend in times as these helps greatly Thank you for helping me find my true self Never giving up faith in yourself Even when it seems things innately For I know it's easy to lose oneself It has become a blessing of our-self As in friendship this be known lately Thank you for helping me find my true self Although at times things hard to understand I know now in love and care it was And now in true friendship our self's stand Didn't know in myself these flaws When you helped me through to better Making our friendship a worthy cause Now I write this poem as a love letter For in the world it's easy to lose oneself I've now lovingly become your debtor Thank you for helping me find my true self                            ©Doris Elaine

  Here a poem from "Growing Strong in The Lord, Part One" now in My Faves book. Sometimes it seems you wait and wait for something to happen in your life when the Lord is actually moving things along to make that thing you want to happen so badly in Him assuring, first, it happens in His timing and second, it happens for the best of all involved. Patience here is a virtue in letting Him make what ever you are praying for happen in His timing because His timing is the best time.  It Just Wasn’t Time When disappointed it wasn’t your time Rather, a connection or a place to be made You don’t always see it ahead of time As in sometimes the moment does fade Because it just wasn’t time   Thrust in the Lord God, you’ve prayed Hope comes to you meantime As He provides you not to be afraid Even when you’ve waited a lifetime   Your way He makes just in time No need to ever be dismayed He will make your wait as prime Because it just wasn’t time   Thoughts : When it seems you are

Here a poem from " I Am Sowed, Part One" , now in My Fave s book.  This is a  Noet Poem, a  very simple to understand form. It is a nine-line poem that starts at line one with nine syllables and decreases one number in syllables with each line; so by the time line nine is formed it is one syllable word. You can catch more forms in my Rhyme  It Out   Project!  two book series.   Losing Faith in Humankind How You must feel when to us You aligned And we let You down time after time It hurts when You lose faith in humankind Through Your Son Your love for us redesigned Giving us hope in this faith to attain Showing feelings to us You designed When hard for us to believe in mankind For faith in others can leave a stain As it hurts losing faith in humankind It's the worse feeling when faith is lost Especially when in mankind it's gone The pain resides deep inside at cost Wondering how in this one lives on It's faith in You that gives us reason When faith in mankind is withdrawn   When to faith in man becomes treason You felt this when to us You aligned In You my faith will get through this season Thou, it hurts losing faith in humankind                         ©Doris Elaine

  Thank You, Keeping my Heart Safe Heartbroken, You have become my failsafe When in this world warmth of care runs thin Thank You for holding & keeping my heart safe As emotions to this becomes chafe In thinking it impossible to bare in Heartbroken, You have become my failsafe Making known to me that once was unsafe I now live in this love affair within Thank You for holding & keeping my heart safe Embracing the care You made known to me I know this world is not all that bad For in Your care it's Your love I now see No matter heartbroken that past I had You gave me hope of a future bright For in Your arms I'm no longer sad Keeping You there my heart holds on tight Heartbroken, You have become my failsafe Now my being excels this world despite Thank You for holding & keeping my heart safe                          ©Doris Elaine

For single and coupled parents alike, it's hard when you don't have the funds to give your child(ren) a holiday you wish you could. In these struggling times, always remember you give a gift that has infinite value that money can't buy; the gift Love. It speaks of how we Christians need to try to understand how to effectively deliver God's message in today's language as yesterday's language isn't always effective.
