Christmas in Your Presence


On that occasion I don't need presents
In celebrating the joy of the season
Only Christmas alone in Your presence

For wonderful is Your omnipresence
A gift bestowed worldwide preseason
To this be why I don't need presents

I delight spending time in Your essence
For You've given me Your love in reason
I'll be spending Christmas in Your presence

Thou, not another with me that day
I'll be celebrating Our time together
As I'll spend Our time gratefully to pray

To You my soul is joyously tether
For alone I feel not when You are there
Making my day pleasant altogether

I'm looking forward Our day's love affair
And on that occasion I don't need presents
For better is Your gift of love I'll wear
In Christmas alone in Your presence
