A Poem For Thought

Stop Our Mess

Forcing things to happen causes much anxiety
One can then develop a great amount of stress
This can also greatly affect one’s vitality
Leaving one in a great big mess

For some this becomes their propriety
In making things happen they press
But this can cause much notoriety
Leaving one in great distress

When living life in Christianity
One learns that waiting is a process
Relying on Him improves one’s sanity
Trusting in Him for He will impress

In the fast pace of today’s society
Forcing happenings we can digress
However, the Lord improves our mentality
Wait and trust Him, and stop our mess

Thoughts: Waiting and trusting in The Lord can sometimes be hard. Especially in our fast paced world we live today. But forcing things to happen can greatly turn out disastrously. Main reason is because that is our timing trying and not His and our timing can become quite messy.  Waiting and trusting in the Lord to move for you is always better than forcing things to happen on our terms or timing. And, while you wait being productive for Him can improve your cause and well-being.

Poems from Social Media Musings Revisited

These Two Poems, I believe, need revising in honor of the season in tribute to Our Lord God!

From "Social I Not":

God's Best

One looks the worldwide over
For a soulmate that's deemed a must
In giving one's options a once-over
It's God one must learn to trust

For He will lead you to the one
And to one's surprise it will come
For the best to one will match none
Under His guidance two is one to become

Union of the best doesn't always come easy
Especially when one has many to choose
But God is never too busy
One only needs to listen to God's voice

For the best His to give
To one that is ready to receive
Uniting of God's best for both to live
In God one must learn to trust and believe

Today's Thoughts: If you are alone this Holiday Season, don't loose hope. It's hard when you have no significant other to share the Holidays with, but it's just for a season. In waiting and trusting in the Lord God, He will bring you The Best (His Best) that will be for a lifetime. He's the best match maker in the World; trust in Him.

From "Not I, But I Am":

Look for the Gold

In every situation's outcome, Look for the Gold
Rather good or bad the outcome
One must look closer to behold
The lesson that's due to become
One's lesson in finding the gold

In the outcome of the situation
One's blessing is already foretold
Although blind in the mist of it's duration
The silver lining is in finding the gold

In looking back one needs to behold
That which was destined  for one's good
For the lesson seen can then unfold
Looking past the bad if one would
Placing trust in God above
For with Him one's life is foretold
And comes out of the grace of His love
In situational outcomes, Look for the Gold

Today's Thoughts: Your situation may not be ideal this Holiday season, but had it not been for the Lord's birth this day we celebrate, we would not have hope of a better situation to come. Enjoy this hope this Holiday season.

A Poem Form for Christmas

This form is Acrostic. It spells out something diagonally on the left side of each line. This form is a bit of a challenge to create in a rhyming poem. More of a challenge is a Double Acrostic, where in addition to left side is the spelling out on the right side in sequence after the left side. Haven't tried this yet. But here an Acrostic Poem for the season.

Celebrating each other this day
Happy in giving; a smile received
Roof tops lit bright, displays array
In making this day one perceived
Special in giving thanks we covey
Today ours to celebrate,  joy achieved
Memories of blessings here to stay
Amazed at the kindness, ours conceived
Signaling Christmas is here without delay

Wishing all a very Merry Christmas!

A Poem for Christmas

This form of poem is Acrostic. It spells out something diagonally on the left side of each line. Here an Acrostic Poem for the season.

Merry Christmas

Merry this day for our king was born
Excitement fills the air in celebration
Receiving and giving gifts becomes airborne
Remembering Him this day brings elation
Yesterdays blessings He has adorn

Christ Jesus to us was born
Holy this day we celebrate
Righteous our linage His as worn
Into His kingdom we await
Salvation to us He has sworn
Today our love to Him we demonstrate
Merry we become in being reborn
As Christians everyday we mandate
Soon to come our king that's greatly adorn

Although, unknown for sure, this is the day we celebrate our creator, savior, friend, OUR KING's birth; Jesus Christ.

A very MERRY CHRISTMAS to all!

A Poem for Thought

Consciousness Evolution?

Evolution theorist believe we evolved
Yet, can't explain consciousness
So, they try to be absolved
In this miracle of self-consciousness
For evolutionist, this unsolved
Awareness of self is not unconsciousness
As for consciousness we have resolved

We are aware our surroundings consciously
This can not be from nothing
As evolutionist claim anxiously
Trying to make evolution a thing
Even so, this thought subconsciously
Gives the idea of a miracle it's offspring
And, gives way to truth unconsciously
Where consciousness from God did spring
     ©Doris Elaine

Thoughts: There are many human attributes that science can not explain; consciousness being one. If we evolved from matter, then where did the first matter come from? This too, something evolutionist avoid in answering because they can't explain. Avoidance is their answer to the miracles of life that's given from God above. Just being able to consciously think about this is a miracle that matter did not create. Think about it!!
