Hi guys, I know I haven’t been very active here, but there’s a good reason. I’m in transition to a new to me logging site. Sense the domain hooked to this site does not run out for some months you will on occasion see a post here. To check out my new blog go to my author’s site link below. bydoriselaine.com
This form is Acrostic. It spells out something diagonally on the left side of each line. This form is a bit of a challenge to create in a rhyming poem. More of a challenge is a Double Acrostic, where in addition to left side is the spelling out on the right side in sequence after the left side. Haven't tried this yet. But here an Acrostic Poem for the season.
Christmas
Celebrating each other this day
Happy in giving; a smile received
Roof tops lit bright, displays array
In making this day one perceived
Special in giving thanks we covey
Today ours to celebrate, joy achieved
Memories of blessings here to stay
Amazed at the kindness, ours conceived
Signaling Christmas is here without delay

Wishing all a very Merry Christmas!
