The World's Place in You
When it's hard to find your place in the world
To this one can get very withdrawn
It may mean the world found it's place in you
Sometimes things here don't seem as pearled
As to your way you thought you knew
When it's hard to find your place in the world
Then your emotions get greatly hurled
As in this world you try to get through
It may mean the world found it's place in you
Okay to live here but not be of it
In finding your place in Jesus Christ
When to Him one becomes closely knit
As to this place He was sacrificed
Even when our place here seemed grim
For us to be free here His life sufficed
Freedom doesn't mean you here on a whim
When it's hard to find your place in the world
There's always a place to be with Him
Even when the world's found it's place in you

Thoughts: It's okay to feel out of place in the world. As a matter of fact, as Christians we really are out of place in this temporary world we live. Our home is with Him. It's a common feeling as a Christian to feel out of place. Believe me I've had this not feeling I belong here for a very long time. It's when you get comfortable and feel in place here that one's needs to be wondering and concerned if in finding your place here if the world has found it's place in you. (This poem a little off set and out of place in pattern; but had to be in order to make it's meaning work).
