Chosen Heaven
One makes a place one calls one's haven
Where one does choose to spent one's day
It all about one's chosen heaven
One sees the courage a friend has given
As to this bravery one does say
It's in this place one calls one's haven
For it's in these moments one's peace driven
Where God shows His presence along the way
It's all about one's chosen heaven
This temporal place one does now live
Chosen to one in making one's retreat
It's the value to moments one does give
Living in peace is where one plants one's feet
In one's journey home to where one belongs
For now heaven be in moments made sweet
For it's to heaven where one's soul longs
In this place one makes one's haven
Heaven on earth in moments prolongs
As it all depends on one's chosen heaven

Thoughts: Heaven here on earth, our temporal home, all depends on how one chooses to look at things. A baby's cry, courage of a friend, hands of a doctor, the love of a mother and/or father, and so on can all be considered a gift from heaven; thus, heaven on earth. To experience the good moments in life, it's all about how we perceive life in our chosen heaven.
