If You Never, You Wouldn't Know
Sometimes it's hard to go through to grow
It's to these hard times one learns
If you never, you would never know
To the struggle you may feel very low
Especially when your well-being concerns
As sometimes it's hard to go through to grow
For when heartache to you is bestow
Growth being the outcome gives returns
If you never, you would never know
As one appreciates the little things
When to struggle & heartache you knew
To these little things the heart now sings
Although at times you had no clue
For your good it may work toward
As this you never, gives you a breakthrough
These never life lessons wisdom is poured
When sometimes hard to go through to grow
It's then one learns to call on the Lord
Due if you never, you would never know

Thanks For The Lesson!
Without heartbreak there's no progression
From within the feeling was driven
I must say, thanks for the lesson
As the pain deep down gives the impression
Healing needed from what was given
Without heartbreak there's no progression
Now I have learned my heart's expression
When to the one all is forgiven
I must say, thanks for the lesson
In knowing this feeling I have learned
To trust the Lord with my precious heart
Because to His love my heart concerned
As in His love I'll never depart
For He will never to my heart break
And to my healing give me a new start
To my world this lesson did awake
Without this heartbreak was no progression
As I've matured from that I did partake
I must say, Thanks For The Lesson!

Thoughts: If you never experience hard times you would never appreciate when things go right or good for you. We sometimes struggle through life as lessons in order to grow in understanding of who is the One we can count on; especially when the heart is concerned. Growth is necessary in order to mature as a Christian and going through is a part of that growth. So, the next time you struggle remember it a part of the maturing process because if you never you would never know how to call on the Lord and appreciate what He gives you. And the next time someone breaks your heart, pray and forgive, then say, thanks for the lesson!
