A Poem for Thought

Three Years to Embody True Love

Though instant is His love from above
For us humans here it may take longer
Jesus here three years to embody true love

Quickly it fades; fly's away as a dove
Given as fake to the purpose of conjure
Though instant is His love from above

Attention given out of self love
In hope of instant thought to stronger
Jesus here three years to embody true love

Although hard in acquiring it takes time
When developing that so sacred
When given this to thought in making prime

In today's world the wait seems dated
As it moves ever so lightening fast
Then to this fake love becomes fated

Time it takes to develop in contrast
Though instant is His love from above
Fake love to Hs love never will outlast
Jesus here three years to embody true love

Thoughts: This world moves so fast that people fall in and out of love at the drop of a hat and that's not true love. Although it does take time in acquiring true love is made to outlast this world. So many people think or act on giving attention as that of being true love; especially on Social Media. Sorry to burst people's bubble, but giving and receiving attention does not make true love. Sure it enhances people's relationship, but attention alone is not real love. So many lonely people use the Social Media for that purpose out of loneliness and so many are deceived when this happens. Sure and most definitely God's love is instant. He is a supernatural being where this is possible; we are not. And besides right now we live in this world not our final destination in the supernatural place He has for us. Thus human love being faulty takes time in this world where Jesus took three years here to embody true love.

Happy Valentine, Love of my heart!

“For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God” (Ephesians 3:14-19. NKJV).  Happy Valentine’s Day All Precious Hearts Everyday

Holy Spirit- Acrostic Poem

"But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him." (1John 2:27. NKJV) "Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." (Romans 15:13. NKJV). "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you." (John 14:26. NKJV). "The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God," (Romans 8:16. NKJV). "By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit." (1 John 4:13. NKJV). "For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all b

Two poems preview for "Growing Strong in The Lord - part one"

Here two more preview poems from my Growing Strong in The Lord Collection. These are from where I left off in my Part One previews. I will be mostly posting preview poems, as promised, from my published books. Rarely will you see a new poem here on this site. These two poems from my Growing Strong in The Lord- Part One, "I Am Sowed By God's Words" , came out of knowing God was with me during an impact with my car and a full grown and huge doe deer. I listed these two poems just days apart, as I still felt the grace God delivered me that fateful day; reminding me of His grace and presence throughout my life.  It's Not Luck, But Grace ⭐ When one is thrown a curve ball Like something unexpected takes place That can bring an unforeseen pitfall One holds tight and does brace As one calls on the Lord above all He then sees you through this place In the aftermath you then recall The Lord got you through, you embrace For He can, no matter how big or small And then you rea
