A Poem of Thanks

 You Put a Smile on My Face, Thank you


Was a feeling that was gave in grace
As you touched my heart with your awesome love
You gave me joy with a smile on my face

You lifted me high above this place
Made me want to fly like a dove
Was a feeling that was gave in grace

As I greatly felt your warm embrace
That came down from the great above
You gave me joy with a smile on my face

Was uncontrollable that made me drunk
As the laughter enveloped me non-stop
Still wobbly after the lift shrunk

Then back to reality my spirit did drop
As the after effect left me aglow
Your touch to me no human can top

This was from you my Lord, I know
Was a feeling that was gave in grace
I thank you Lord as your love does show
You gave me joy with a smile on my face

Thoughts: If you have ever been touched by God then you would know His touch well. He does touch us in ways a human never can. And His touch exceeds everything and leaves you knowing He cares and loves you. I greatly thank Him for this as it is given in grace. What is so awesome is He seems to give it to you when you need it most. His touch leaves a smile on you face!

Two poems preview for "Growing Strong in The Lord - part one"

  Here two more preview poems from my Growing Strong in The Lord Collection. These are from where I left off in my Part One previews. I will be mostly posting preview poems, as promised, from my published books. Rarely will you see a new poem here on this site. These two poems from my Growing Strong in The Lord- Part One, "I Am Sowed By God's Words" , came out of knowing God was with me during an impact with my car and a full grown and huge doe deer.
