Acrostic Poem-Faith, Hope, Love


 Faith, Hope, & Love

Faith is to have complete trust in Him above
Able in life to every situation to cope
In knowing His love He gives thereof
To our sinful nature He never says nope
Help from Him to this we are free of

Hope is a desire of a certain thing of scope
Ordered by God, to the one behove
Prompting one to not live on a tightrope
Elevating one's spirit to fly as a dove

Love desired by everyone, this be a slippery slope
Opening one's heart to receive true love
Valuable to God, one's heart He does elope
Evidence that of these three, the greatest is love

Reference of Thoughts: Faith and Hope comes through our relationship with Jesus Christ; which equals or gives us the outcome of Love. And, Love being the greatest of all three. 

"We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers, remembering without ceasing your work of faith, labor of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ in the sight of our God and father, knowing. beloved brethren, your election by God" (1 Thessalonians 1:2-4. NKJV).

"But let us who are of the day sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation" (1 Thessalonians 5:8. NKJV).

"And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love" (1 Corinthians 13:13. NKJV).
