Poem of Thought

 Loving the Unlovely Test

It sometimes can make one highly stressed
In one's being seeing the importance
Passing the loving the unlovely test

To this spiritual test one has confessed
One has only known it's unimportance
For it sometimes can make one highly stressed

Only with God to this one is blessed
To grow in this area past self-importance
Passing the loving the unlovely test

The unlovely enter one's life as purposed
A lesson in spiritual growth to be
In loving one another as proposed

As we all have faults unlovely to see
Life has given or made us that way
For the knowing to this most can agree

When the test is given to one this day
One needs not let it make one highly stressed
Because God will bless you as He does say
You passed the loving the unlovely test

Thoughts: We all have unlovely ways due life and life's situations. Many times these unlovely ways of one's self one can't help. It can be stressful and hard to love another due one's unlovely way. But, we are not supposed to judge and think one's self better than the other just because one may have matured spiritually past this fault in one's self. Consider: Galatians 6:1-3 "Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such as one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted. Bear on another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. For if anyone thinks himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself". (NKJV). In living Christ-like we are supposed to give understanding and kindness when dealing with the unlovely. And above all, not to judge lest we be judged in our unlovely ways. Dealing with the unlovely in life will always be tested in one's spiritual walk in life. It's important to mature spiritually in passing the loving the unlovely test.

Note: I know I can and do have some unlovely ways; some due character flaws and some due life situational flaws. If I have offended or caused anyone stress due this, please forgive me and please pray for my soul as I try to learn not to judge the unlovely in others; to instead love others.

Happy Valentine, Love of my heart!

“For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God” (Ephesians 3:14-19. NKJV).  Happy Valentine’s Day All Precious Hearts Everyday

Holy Spirit- Acrostic Poem

"But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him." (1John 2:27. NKJV) "Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." (Romans 15:13. NKJV). "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you." (John 14:26. NKJV). "The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God," (Romans 8:16. NKJV). "By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit." (1 John 4:13. NKJV). "For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all b

Two poems preview for "Growing Strong in The Lord - part one"

Here two more preview poems from my Growing Strong in The Lord Collection. These are from where I left off in my Part One previews. I will be mostly posting preview poems, as promised, from my published books. Rarely will you see a new poem here on this site. These two poems from my Growing Strong in The Lord- Part One, "I Am Sowed By God's Words" , came out of knowing God was with me during an impact with my car and a full grown and huge doe deer. I listed these two poems just days apart, as I still felt the grace God delivered me that fateful day; reminding me of His grace and presence throughout my life.  It's Not Luck, But Grace ⭐ When one is thrown a curve ball Like something unexpected takes place That can bring an unforeseen pitfall One holds tight and does brace As one calls on the Lord above all He then sees you through this place In the aftermath you then recall The Lord got you through, you embrace For He can, no matter how big or small And then you rea
