Christ Like

Simplify to be Christ Like

One's mind clutter can cause much dislike
When in today's world fast be the pace
But it can be simple to be Christ like

Uncluttering may take change lifelike
Examining what's allowed in one's space
As one's mind cutter can cause much dislike

Simplifying gives evil a strike
Giving focus to God in its place
As it can be simple to be Christ like

Less clutter means more room for Christ
To be in one's life and in one's mind
For to God's glory He was sacrificed

So to the clutter examine and find
What needs decluttering to make right
In worshipping Him one's focus aligned

When to one's mind focus becomes a fight
As one's mind clutter can cause much dislike
Take action in life against this plight
Know it can be simple to be Christ like

Thoughts: In our fast paced world today there are so many things that can clutter our minds and lives in taking away our focus and worship on God. Things such as: Who we associate with, owing more than our pay, saying yes to too many things, thinking technology is the answer in our lives, not getting enough rest and or not planning leisure time, and having no time in savoring and enjoying life; just to name some. Am sure there are more I did not name. When one 's mind and life is cluttered with unnecessary activity it does not allow much room for giving glory to God. Christ glorified God with His very life. It is our destiny to try in becoming more like Christ. Roman's 8:29 reads "For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren."  We were created to become Christ like and that includes worshiping Him and focusing our minds on Him. In examining areas of our lives that takes away from being able to do this, we can make necessary changes towards being more Christ like. Of course, we could never ever be like Christ; but, we must try to declutter our minds and life towards simplification in being able to; because it can be simple to be Christ like.

Happy Valentine, Love of my heart!

“For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God” (Ephesians 3:14-19. NKJV).  Happy Valentine’s Day All Precious Hearts Everyday

Holy Spirit- Acrostic Poem

"But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him." (1John 2:27. NKJV) "Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." (Romans 15:13. NKJV). "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you." (John 14:26. NKJV). "The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God," (Romans 8:16. NKJV). "By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit." (1 John 4:13. NKJV). "For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all b

Two poems preview for "Growing Strong in The Lord - part one"

Here two more preview poems from my Growing Strong in The Lord Collection. These are from where I left off in my Part One previews. I will be mostly posting preview poems, as promised, from my published books. Rarely will you see a new poem here on this site. These two poems from my Growing Strong in The Lord- Part One, "I Am Sowed By God's Words" , came out of knowing God was with me during an impact with my car and a full grown and huge doe deer. I listed these two poems just days apart, as I still felt the grace God delivered me that fateful day; reminding me of His grace and presence throughout my life.  It's Not Luck, But Grace ⭐ When one is thrown a curve ball Like something unexpected takes place That can bring an unforeseen pitfall One holds tight and does brace As one calls on the Lord above all He then sees you through this place In the aftermath you then recall The Lord got you through, you embrace For He can, no matter how big or small And then you rea
