Acrostic Poem for Thought

Planted With Jesus

Placed myself in Your presence
Lonely with holes in my heart
Able You are with Your omnipresence
Nothing You saw causing Us to depart
To now in Your love I feel Your essence
Electrifying my soul this world apart
Delighted; I chose to come into Your presence

With You my soul is now on fire
In You presence I know I'm loved
Together with You is my desire
Happy my heart now belongs to You; beloved

Joining with You has become my best
Everlasting Your love my heart now beats
Sealing the holes with great zest
Uniting with You my being completes
Saved; now planted with You, this I've confessed

Thoughts: Today Christians sometimes get mocked, put down, talked about behind your back, or even called crazy. Never let others discourage you from believing in Jesus Christ and from being a true Child of God. Knowing He is in your heart, less than a heart beat away, is sometimes all you need to stay planted in your belief. "For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height-to know the love of Jesus Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God." (Ephesians14-19. NKJV). Even with holes in your heart from misplaced worries, loneliness, lost of a loved one, financial struggles, and many more concerns that life can present us; we have a God that mightily loves and cares about us that He sent His only Son to save us from any concern this world may give. For the believer, Christ lives in our hearts and does and will fill those holes with His understanding and love. Remember, He is less than a heart beat away; so grab Him and stay planted with Jesus.

Happy Valentine, Love of my heart!

“For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God” (Ephesians 3:14-19. Holy Spirit- Acrostic Poem

"But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him." (1John 2:27. NKJV) "Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." (Romans 15:13. NKJV). "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you." (John 14:26. NKJV). "The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God," (Romans 8:16. NKJV). "By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit." (1 John 4:13. NKJV). "For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all b

Two poems preview for "Growing Strong in The Lord - part one"

Here two more preview poems from my Growing Strong in The Lord Collection. These are from where I left off in my Part One previews. I will be mostly posting preview poems, as promised, from my published books. Rarely will you see a new poem here on this site. These two poems from my Growing Strong in The Lord- Part One, "I Am Sowed By God's Words" , came out of knowing God was with me during an impact with my car and a full grown and huge doe deer. I listed these two poems just days apart, as I still felt the grace God delivered me that fateful day; reminding me of His grace and presence throughout my life.  It's Not Luck, But Grace ⭐ When one is thrown a curve ball Like something unexpected takes place That can bring an unforeseen pitfall One holds tight and does brace As one calls on the Lord above all He then sees you through this place In the aftermath you then recall The Lord got you through, you embrace For He can, no matter how big or small And then you rea
