Poem - You Want Let Me Down

You Won't Let Me Down

Sometimes life does put on my face a frown
Have learned no matter I'll be okay
Because I know Lord, You won't let me down

For with You I know I wear a crown
No matter what life brings to my day
When life does put on my face a frown

In some moments I feel as though I'll drown
That's when I think of You and say
With You, I know Lord, You won't let me down

When others want to my joy to take
Playing games with my emotions at bay
Making promises in their world of fake

I know in this Lord Your here to stay
Protecting what others tried to destroy
As in this you've showed me a way

When others treat me as just a toy
As life does put on my face a frown
You've showed me in this how to life enjoy
In knowing Lord, You won't let me down

Thoughts: You know life is hard, even harder when dealing with fake people or fake situations. But, there's one being that will never fake you, play with your emotions, nor let You down. His name is Jesus Christ. And, trusting in Him goes way beyond this world. "..and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of age" (Matthew 28:20b. NKJV). We woman are more of emotional creatures than a man, but that does not give men the right to abuse our emotions. Not saying, men are not emotional, nor none caring; just saying, women are more naturally emotional. And, because of this, men are supposed to be protectors of woman from the abuse of this world, not be the abuser of women. A real man protects a woman. And women, although we have come a long, long way in gaining our rights, we need a man's strong and steady emotional support in protecting us in this world. If by one's self, it is Jesus who becomes that protector. Although, many may try to hurt one by manipulation of one's emotions, we always have One we can count on to be there in our time of need. One that will help see one through the hurt in helping one to rebound emotionally. "Do not be afraid, but speak, and do not keep silent; for I am with you, and no one will attack you to hurt you" (Act 18:9. NKJV). Even if one does get hurt from the stupid games people like to play Jesus is there to help one heal and He will never manipulate, nor let you down.

Sadly Informing

Hi guys, I’m will be making many decision over the course of the next several months. Sadly I’ve made one decision that was a really hard decision for me to make. I’m letting my longtime  “rhymes” name to my blog go. I’ve used that name in one way or another now for several years. I have also used the “redemptive” name in different ways for a few years now. I’m letting both names go. You see, I’ve come to a place where I’m not writing much poetry. I’ve written close to 800 poem-including those unpublished and or tossed-over the course of the last six years; most of which was out of the need to express myself in poetry as that being the only way I could at the time. However, now my expressionable needs have changed. I will be focusing more on writing post, articles, novellas and or novels (maybe), and just plain promoting rhyming poetry on occasion; after all I still prefer rhyming poetry and did creat my own rhyming form. It wouldn’t make since for me to pull away from poetry altogeth

A Tervillazanell (My Form Create) New Poem for You

Now, I'm Not Broken How mighty Your Love when I'm heartbroken For You do come to my rescue when I say I'm fine, but I'm not, I'm broken When to my heart Your kindness has spoken Healing to my soul then does begin  How mighty Your Love when I'm heartbroken Making sure my heart rises to unbroken Your Love gave place when to that again I say I'm fine, but I'm not, I'm broken Thanks to You my heart is now healing The hurt which caused my soul to break Your place deep down now is appealing My spirit rises with Your Love to awake  In knowing You love me no matter How long it does take to heal my ache When in this world my soul had shatter Mighty Your Love when I was heartbroken  You served Your Love on a golden platter With You now, I say, I'm not broken ©Doris Elaine
