Poem for Thought

The Best I Can

In this world now, I'm not a fan
As to certain things I just want to scoff
But in this place I do the best I can

I know to death I'll be better than
Please stop the world I want to get off
For in this world now, I'm not a fan

Even thou I know God has a plan
It's hard when to my ways are cutoff
But in this place I do the best I can

I only want in this world to love
My thoughts racing to how this can be done
Only here to fly away as a dove

Hard to find my place with anyone
As again my ways this world displaced
So now with the Lord I'm number one

As to here with Him my love is placed
For in this world now, I'm not a fan
Where to love here, hate has replaced
But in this place I do the best I can

Thoughts: "If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet, because you are not of the world, but I choose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you." (John 15: 18-19. NKJV). What a powerful statement Jesus made to his disciples; which still holds true today. Often times I feel out of place here due my religious beliefs and ways. Then God reminds me of His Love that transcends a world of hate. God is Love and satan is hate; just as, God gives one love, the world gives one hate. The world, currently, is satan's domain; thus, strife, drama, depression, pain, and hatred, and all the bad this world offers, satan places on one. Making it hard to love in the hatful atmosphere of today's world. When I feel out of place in a world of hate, I know I am loved by the only One that really matters; God. Sometimes, as Christians, when we feel out of place in this world, we need to just remember what Jesus said to His disciples. And know, that even when the world makes one feel out of place, unwanted, and hated, that He loves us regardless of how much the world hates us. To just do the best you can to love in a world full of hate!

Noted Thoughts: Actually, one as a Christian, should feel out of place in a world of hate, and should know in feeling this way, you must be doing something right!

Happy Valentine, Love of my heart!

“For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God” (Ephesians 3:14-19. NKJV).  Happy Valentine’s Day All Precious Hearts Everyday

Holy Spirit- Acrostic Poem

"But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him." (1John 2:27. NKJV) "Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." (Romans 15:13. NKJV). "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you." (John 14:26. NKJV). "The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God," (Romans 8:16. NKJV). "By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit." (1 John 4:13. NKJV). "For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all b

Two poems preview for "Growing Strong in The Lord - part one"

Here two more preview poems from my Growing Strong in The Lord Collection. These are from where I left off in my Part One previews. I will be mostly posting preview poems, as promised, from my published books. Rarely will you see a new poem here on this site. These two poems from my Growing Strong in The Lord- Part One, "I Am Sowed By God's Words" , came out of knowing God was with me during an impact with my car and a full grown and huge doe deer. I listed these two poems just days apart, as I still felt the grace God delivered me that fateful day; reminding me of His grace and presence throughout my life.  It's Not Luck, But Grace ⭐ When one is thrown a curve ball Like something unexpected takes place That can bring an unforeseen pitfall One holds tight and does brace As one calls on the Lord above all He then sees you through this place In the aftermath you then recall The Lord got you through, you embrace For He can, no matter how big or small And then you rea
