Two poems preview for "Growing Strong in The Lord - part one"

Here two more preview poems from my Growing Strong in The Lord Collection. These are from where I left off in my Part One previews. I will be mostly posting preview poems, as promised, from my published books. Rarely will you see a new poem here on this site. These two poems from my Growing Strong in The Lord- Part One, "I Am Sowed By God's Words", came out of knowing God was with me during an impact with my car and a full grown and huge doe deer. I listed these two poems just days apart, as I still felt the grace God delivered me that fateful day; reminding me of His grace and presence throughout my life.

It's Not Luck, But Grace ⭐

When one is thrown a curve ball
Like something unexpected takes place
That can bring an unforeseen pitfall
One holds tight and does brace
As one calls on the Lord above all
He then sees you through this place
In the aftermath you then recall
The Lord got you through, you embrace
For He can, no matter how big or small
And then you realize; It's not luck, but grace

Thoughts: Sometimes things happen out of our control and one may want to ask why. But, better to think it could have been worse. In my case; on the way home from work a couple of nights ago, and out of no where two deer cross in front of me. Missing the first, however, missing the second was unavoidable. It was at least a 200 pound doe (female). Now it did do some pretty significant damage to front headlight, driver side front fender and driver door want open all the way; but, no damage to suspension, engine and the car is still drivable. That's a blessing as my only car and on insurance have a hefty deductible; which means I have to pay for repairs. Not concerned with driving a damaged car, as have drove worse. It still very drivable. But, when showing others the deer that hit me (I took picture next day of deer that ended on other side of road) and the damage to my car, most everyone is saying I am very lucky, it could have been way, way worse. I say to them, No it was the grace of the Lord. He knew I needed my car. Thank you Lord. And as many may know an impact with a deer, especially a full grown deer, can disable a car; could have even impacted my windshield. If you could have been there and seen how big this deer was and the damage on my car, you would wonder why not more damage or why my car is even drivable.  I call that grace, not luck! Always look for the Lord's grace in your life; you'd be surprised at how much grace He gives in your everyday life and especially when the unexpected happens.

Always! With Praise!

You have been with me, Always!
I look back and see your presence
It's then, I give you all the Praise!

Although I've messed up much my days
And although, to you many are unpleasant
Still, you have been with me, Always!

No matter my life's days, it displays
As to now I see them as a lesson
For them, I give you all the Praise!

Difficult as I was in my ways
To this you always gave acceptance
For you have been with me, Always!

Lord, the love you give I am amaze
As for now I ever feel your essence
And now, I give you all the Praise!

Although my obedience has shown delays
I thank you for your awesome patience
As you have been with me, Always!
Forever, I'll give you all the Praise!

Thoughts: No one is perfect and I certainly don't claim to be. Through out my life I have made many mistakes (and still do), but now when I look back I see the Lord's presence in my life. Some situations, I wonder how I got through and I know it was the Lord intervening in my life. Sometimes this intervention was a lesson to learn. The Lord is forgiving and is ever present in our lives; He is omnipresent (everywhere). Today, I thank Him for not giving up on me, as He is also patient. He will never leave you, no matter. "Go therefore to all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo I am with you always, even to the end of age" (Matthew 28:19-20. NKJV). I praise the Lord  for His presence in my life, Always.

A woman whose not just a pretty face But a woman of God's grace Beholding God's face A woman who lives knowing she's headed heaven in God's place. A woman of good character, not better competence. A woman who symbolizes the goodness of God by her excellence. A woman who pray for her house, and other residence. She walks with the Lord shouting, pleading's how me the way oh God'. I'm talking abhor a woman whose 'BAD'. Baptized and delivered. I'm talking about a woman whose 'MAD' Magnificent and devoted. I'm talking about the forever loved lovable leading ladies.
