A Poem for Thought

 Can't Break What's Already Broken

One's soul to the Lord He has spoken
Even when others try to possess it
But others can't break what's already broken

As to Him one's soul belongs unspoken
Belonging to Him one soon does admit
For one's soul to the Lord He has spoken

Even when to here one becomes heartbroken
When others try breaking you their gain commit
But others can't break what's already broken

The journey from broken to healing starts
In placing one's faith in Him to begin
Giving His love to the heart He imparts

As once broken life can be hard in
Where only God can breath life afresh
Helping one's outlook change and mend

Your being to Him is then strongly mesh
For one's soul to the Lord He has spoken
In life once broken He gives a refresh
As others can't break what's already broken

Thoughts: It's true, broken is broken, from there mending is all that is left. Sometimes we depend on others to help us mend when this dependency can sometimes only keep us stuck in our brokenness. I do believe friends in this world is needed, but for a broken person it's hard to be a true friend to another without laying your own burdens of brokenness onto that person. Many times others tell you be this way or do this in trying to help you without them realizing just how broken you really are and to this be thankful for them for they do not mean harm in only trying to help you. A special friend indeed is needed and that friend is Jesus Christ who understands the steps needed towards the healing of one's broken soul. He will help you to become strong in the healing process of mending you and know that others can't break what's already broken.

Happy Valentine, Love of my heart!

“For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God” (Ephesians 3:14-19. NKJV).  Happy Valentine’s Day All Precious Hearts Everyday

Holy Spirit- Acrostic Poem

"But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him." (1John 2:27. NKJV) "Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." (Romans 15:13. NKJV). "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you." (John 14:26. NKJV). "The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God," (Romans 8:16. NKJV). "By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit." (1 John 4:13. NKJV). "For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all b

Two poems preview for "Growing Strong in The Lord - part one"

Here two more preview poems from my Growing Strong in The Lord Collection. These are from where I left off in my Part One previews. I will be mostly posting preview poems, as promised, from my published books. Rarely will you see a new poem here on this site. These two poems from my Growing Strong in The Lord- Part One, "I Am Sowed By God's Words" , came out of knowing God was with me during an impact with my car and a full grown and huge doe deer. I listed these two poems just days apart, as I still felt the grace God delivered me that fateful day; reminding me of His grace and presence throughout my life.  It's Not Luck, But Grace ⭐ When one is thrown a curve ball Like something unexpected takes place That can bring an unforeseen pitfall One holds tight and does brace As one calls on the Lord above all He then sees you through this place In the aftermath you then recall The Lord got you through, you embrace For He can, no matter how big or small And then you rea
