A Poem for Thought - "Worship Who?"

Worship Who?

Only One deserves worship as King
And to this know, it is not man
In awareness of whom we're worshipping

Some give applause to man in everything
Praising man in making God less than
But only One deserves worship as King

Where rich and famous has become a thing
Some bow down in being man's fan
In awareness of whom their worshipping

No matter to whom you are to here
We should not bow down placing man above
For to here the fame does disappear

But with God our life transforms in love
Which man cannot provide past this place
However, God gives this to man thereof

For He cares deeply for the human race
As the One that deserves worship as King
Our creator gave us hope past here in grace
To stay aware of whom we're worshipping

Thoughts: So often we give man glory forgetting whom is the One that really deserves worshipping. When things go right for us, we or whom ever else is involved, want to give praise to one's self or whom ever else is involved, without realizing it was by God's grace that things did go well for one in that particular situation. It is by God's grace we wake up every morning and by His strength that we make it through the day; not by man's grace nor man's own strength, alone. Yet, so many give praise to one's self or to others involved. How often have you done something that was very hard to do for a stranger and patted your own self on the back, rather than thanking God for being able to do it? It's hard sometimes to thank God or to praise Him when one has had the opportunity, strength, and way to help someone that needed your help.  We often think it was by our own strength, will, and ingenuity that we are able to do something we thought we would never be able to do. In addition, when we see others do something amazing, we often want to praise that person, lifting them to soring heights like that person is some kind of God. While I do agree, some applause-to a certain degree- is warranted when one does something amazing; I can not agree that person should be treated and worshipped like a king or queen of some kind. To me, that's putting that person above God, simply by giving that person all the praise and God none. "Give unto the Lord the glory due to His name; Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness." (Psalms 29: 2-4. NKJV). When we worship ourselves and other humans forgetting where our grace came from in doing something, rather amazing or not, that is a form of worship to thyself and others. "Away with you, Satan! For it is written, You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve". (Matthew 4:10.  NKJV). It is important, as Christians, to always give the Lord thanks for any and every feet in life we are able to accomplish and to remember to give thanks in His name; not man's. "You shall fear the Lord your God and serve Him, and take oaths in His name." (Deuteronomy 6:13.NKJV). Our allegiance should always belong to God and not man. He is the only One that deserves our worship as our King. We should always pay attention and be ware of whom we are worshipping!

Happy Valentine, Love of my heart!

“For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, that He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God” (Ephesians 3:14-19. NKJV).  Happy Valentine’s Day All Precious Hearts Everyday

Holy Spirit- Acrostic Poem

"But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him." (1John 2:27. NKJV) "Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." (Romans 15:13. NKJV). "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you." (John 14:26. NKJV). "The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God," (Romans 8:16. NKJV). "By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit." (1 John 4:13. NKJV). "For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free—and have all b

Two poems preview for "Growing Strong in The Lord - part one"

Here two more preview poems from my Growing Strong in The Lord Collection. These are from where I left off in my Part One previews. I will be mostly posting preview poems, as promised, from my published books. Rarely will you see a new poem here on this site. These two poems from my Growing Strong in The Lord- Part One, "I Am Sowed By God's Words" , came out of knowing God was with me during an impact with my car and a full grown and huge doe deer. I listed these two poems just days apart, as I still felt the grace God delivered me that fateful day; reminding me of His grace and presence throughout my life.  It's Not Luck, But Grace ⭐ When one is thrown a curve ball Like something unexpected takes place That can bring an unforeseen pitfall One holds tight and does brace As one calls on the Lord above all He then sees you through this place In the aftermath you then recall The Lord got you through, you embrace For He can, no matter how big or small And then you rea
